My name is Luke Reiff, born and raised in California. From a young age I was blessed with the opportunity to connect with the elements. Spending most of my days outside, going to the beach, to the local parks, and hiking around national and state parks with my family each summer. I began to fall in love with nature, I found a true solace and connection when I was out in the elements.
As I grew up, I transferred that desire for that connection into sports. Where I played high school basketball in the hoosier state of Indiana and in college at South Carolina Upstate. Half way through my career there, I lost touch with my desire and love for the sport and felt that there was something large missing in my life. That summer, I found myself on a hike deep within an old growth redwood forest in northern california and had a profound vision of shifting my entire life into a more holistic, healthier way of living and facilitating that healing for others.
In 2014, that vision brought me to Topanga Canyon, CA where I first met the medicine of Kambo and sat in ceremony 3 days in a row. When the ceremony ended, I came back from a place of pure light with a sense of being renewed, reborn, and a refreshing feeling I had never had experienced before. That experience is what sparked my love affair with Kambo. Due to this profound journey my life was forever changed.
The next phase of my journey that reignited my passion for indigenous tribes and their cultures began in 2017 in the country of Panama. A gathering of over 70 tribes from all across the world was taking place on the beaches of the caribbean and I knew I needed to be a part of this. I participated in another Kambo ceremony and it once again had a profound effect on my life. I sat with the tribes and learned their ways of working with this medicine and felt the calling to continue my work with this sacred offering. After the gathering of the tribes in Panama I traveled to Colombia to embark on a 10 day intensive plant medicine retreat, there I felt the need to continue shifting my life’s direction and when I returned to the United States I decided it was time to create a new era.
After closing the chapter of my life in Indiana I traveled back out California to continue furthering my work with this medicine. I traveled throughout the entire west coast working with various plant medicine teachers along the way. After sitting in a 3 day intensive Kambo initiation in Sedona, Arizona I knew it was time to become a practitioner of this sacred offering. After six years of personally working with Kambo and continuing to witness the profound effects it had in my life I decided I was ready to offer these transformational experiences for others. So in fall of 2020 I became a Certified Kambo Practitioner with the International Association of Kambo Practitioners.
The beginning of 2021 I returned to Latin America with the intention to deepen my studies and work with this medicine throughout the sacred lands. I held ceremonies in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica as well as the ancient Mayan lands of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. After half a year in Latin America I felt it was time to return to my homeland.
I knew there was a dire need for healing during these turmoil times in the United States. Since then I have been traveling throughout Colorado and the four corners region facilitating ceremonies all throughout. I plan on continuing my journey of offering this medicine to all who seek this transformational healing.
